Getting to the event
Those driving to the event should consider parking away from the Sandbanks Peninsula. One option is to make use of the Parking Spaces in and around Poole Bus Station. From there, on the hour, the Number 52 bus takes you straight to Sandbanks in about 30 mins! For further information go to www.wdbus.co.uk

The following hotels know the polo and have hosted polo guests in the past. Depending on your requirement and availability they may offer you upgrades or discounts if you say you are coming to the area to support the polo at Sandbanks.
Otherwise Poole Tourism www.pooletourism.com has a great variety of local hotels and B&Bs to choose from. For those with ‘festival’ tendencies I am afraid there is no camping allowed on the beach or in the car park!
Smart casual – you will look out of place in jeans, trainers or sportswear! All seating is uncovered - please dress appropriately.
Ladies! please bring suitable shoes as some parts of the site are on sand and access to the site will require you to walk accross the beach.
Food & Beverages
There will be a variety of good quality, reasonably priced food and beverages at the event throughout the day. No food or drinks (other than water) is to be brought into the event area.
Guests will be welcome to leave the event at any stage to take advantage of the other catering outlets on or near the beach. Sandpolo hospitality guests will be catered for throughout in the Arena Marquee. Please do not bring any glass to the event.
Credit/Debit cards machine are available on all of our bars but due to the location and signal they may become temperamental. The closest cash point machine is located at the Tesco Express on Banks Road .
Sandbanks offers the ‘beach wheelchair scheme’. Disabled spectators with special requirements are asked to call Sandpolo (07796 693796) to discuss their needs.
Dogs are banned from the beach completely at the time of the event.
The daytime polo is open to all ages, the party at the beach polo from 7pm with be an over 18's event only
For Your Saftey
Bags may be checked by the event organisers at any time. Cancellation of the event will only take place if extreme circumstances make it unsafe to play. The event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove ticket holders from the event without giving a reason. No glass is to be taken onto the beach.
Hot tips for the sun - don’t forget to: Slip (on a long sleeved T-shirt) Slap (on a broad brimmed hat) and Slop (on some sun cream) For your own safety and for the safety of others please stay away from the horses.

Please Note: Tickets for Sandpolo 2017 are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
Check your tickets when they arrive as mistakes are less likely to be rectified nearer the time.
All our tickets are electronic. Please check your spam box. They come from Sandpolo Ltd.
Please also look after tickets as duplicates will not be issued and there will be no access without the correct tickets.
No monies can be refunded under any circumstances.
Please note a seat ticket is required for children unless they are under 2 years old.
Ticket holders consent to the photographing, recording and filming of themselves as event attendees.
Tickets are non-refundable and non transferable.
The number and timing of the matches and other aspects of the schedule are subject to change.

Right of Admission Reserved
No customer shall be allowed admission to the event after 23.00 hours.
No re-entry to the event shall be after 21:00 hours unless approved by the senior management.
The Event shall operate a challenge 25 policy. All guests who appear to be under 25 shall be asked to produce photo ID to prove they are of legal age before they are sold alcohol
CCTV will be in operation throughout the event.
The event drug policy states that all bags are to be searched for drugs and alcohol. Random persons will be searched on the from door and spot searching will be carried out during the event . Any seized drugs will be dealt with as per Dorset Polices drugs protocol for licensed premises.
